At its core, insecurity is a feeling of fear which is accompanied with lack of confidence. Insecurity can hold you back from seeking and taking on new opportunities. Putting no effort and feeling insecure is fair but sometimes insecurity could also be developed due to our tendency toward perfectionism.

You can overcome insecurities by having self trust and faith. Work on it, stay consistent, focused and patient.
